Every family needs a foundation of unconditional love, forgiveness, and belonging.
Antonin is already 55, but shared with us that he never understood what made a happy marriage or strong family. His own family split when he was young, bringing heartache and confusion. He longed for a loving family of his own, yet wondered how he could overcome the pain of his past.
Broken families have higher rates of addictions, depression, suicide, and abuse. But not all families have access to help and care they need, especially those without a church. We cannot underestimate the healing and mentorship that gospel-centered radio can provide.
“When I listen to you, I can see how it is possible to build a family in a right way,” Antonin told us. “This is important. God is using you to make my life new. I am a fruit of your ministry! Father in heaven, I thank you for TWR and its staff. Their ministry helps me to walk this life; and if I fall down, I am shown how to get up and keep on walking.”
Your support for this campaign goes to invest in programs that care for overlooked children, young adults, stigmatized people groups, and many more.
Speaking into the Silence

When the Iron Curtain began to crumble, feedback from TWR listeners slowly began to emerge after years of silence. The responses began as a trickle, then a flood. You were our only source of spiritual food. Your programs gave us hope. Though we rarely received letters from behind the Iron Curtain, we knew our broadcasts were still reaching high volumes of people.
Regions blanketed by silence are often where God’s Word is needed the most.
TWR was born out of a vision to use mass media to reach restricted and unengaged countries. And today, TWR Europe and CAMENA programs are projected into some of the least-reached areas in the Eastern Hemisphere, meaning millions of people can hear these broadcasts on any given day.
Receiving responses to these broadcasts via letters, emails, or phone calls are precious to us. Some listeners ask for Bibles or prayer, but most simply want to say thank you. And yet, there are large swaths of the world where we do not receive any feedback at all. For those who partner financially with us, this silence can be challenging . . . even discouraging. How do we know our efforts are making a difference? Is anyone even listening?
There are many reasons why we may not receive listener feedback. For example, responses are rare from Roma-language programs due to high rates of illiteracy. In the Balkans, hard-to-reach villages or isolated households do not allow for an easy trip to the post office or access to the internet. And throughout Central Asia, phones are tapped and religious activities are closely monitored. In fact, fear of persecution is the most common deterrent that prevents listeners from making contact.
In over 60 years of ministry, we have seen God work in the most isolated areas through TWR broadcasts. This is what gives us the strength to remain committed to the work. We know our heavenly Father goes before us and is caring for the hearts and souls of individuals in desperate need of his Word—individuals from whom we may never hear.
Is God is calling you to help speak hope into the “silent” regions of the world? There is no telling how he will multiply your investment for his kingdom.
Will you partner with us to speak hope to some of the most overlooked and unengaged people groups in our world today?

Hope for Women

What are we doing to share hope with the world’s largest overlooked population?
Women and girls comprise half of the global population, yet still overwhelmingly carry the weight of violence, poverty, illiteracy, social upheaval, and health crises.
They are repeatedly kept out of decision making that impacts the safety and quality of their lives—many hidden behind socio-religious traditions; others forced into desperate circumstances by poverty—while left to battle loneliness and despair on their own.
Women carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. And while social reform efforts have made an undeniable difference for women worldwide, they are not enough to completely lift the burden. Only God’s love can bring true healing and lasting change for women and girls.
TWR’s Women of Hope seeks to bring hope in Jesus to women around the world and across generations. It offers community and empowerment to women trapped in spiritual oppression, as well as educational and gender inequality. This is accomplished through biblical radio discipleship programs that speak into the heart matters of disenfranchised women and girls, intercessory prayer, leadership development, and small group gatherings.
Today, the Women of Hope program is broadcast in over 70 languages, and the movement has resulted in a network of prayer intercessors in 125 countries!
It is no secret that the global treatment of women today gives a tarnished reflection of God’s tenderness and purpose for them. Imagine being told as a little girl that your hair would turn to snakes if a man saw even one strand escape from behind your veil. Or knowing that riding the train or bus alone meant a high probability of being sexually assaulted. Or needing written permission from your husband or closest male relative to travel abroad.
Such women feel helpless against systematic oppression when they are not empowered with the life-altering truth that they are created and cherished by an all-loving God. But TWR Women of Hope is changing that.
As they understand their calling, women share tremendous influence and become a catalyst for change. The reality is this: When you invest in the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of women, you invest in the wellbeing of entire families and communities.

Approximately one-fifth of the world’s population is Muslim. They need to hear that Jesus loves them.
Islam the second largest religion in the world after Christianity, and some estimate that by 2050, Muslims will make up nearly 30 percent of the global population.
Leaving Islam to follow Jesus is punishable by death in certain parts of the world. And yet we hear daily of new Christ followers from Muslim backgrounds. God’s Word is not returning void. We believe this is a historic moment that will impact many in the future kingdom of God.
But how can we share the gospel in a way that doesn’t endanger seekers?
For more than 60 years, TWR has shared the Word of God in Muslim communities through radio and by safely connecting new believers with mentors and churches on the ground. Starting with the very first broadcast in 1954 from a station in Tangier, Morocco, TWR listeners have accessed scriptural teaching from the privacy of their own homes, allowing them to develop relationships with Jesus while avoiding the possibilities of severe persecution.
And today, by the grace of God, there are now more ways than ever to introduce Bible truths in Muslim communities. Mobile apps and social media have played key roles in allowing seekers to approach the gospel message anywhere at anytime.
Pray for this critical moment in history—that many will understand the need for the gospel of peace in the Muslim world . . . and will choose to respond to the call.
We urgently need your help to reach Muslim communities with the love of Jesus. Will you partner with us today?

Approximately 100 million Christians today suffer persecution for the sake of Christ. You can help share broadcasts that will sustain them in their darkest hours.
“Hello. Am I calling TWR? My name is Ibrahim.”
The voice on the end of the line was hesitant, but after he was assured by a local TWR staff member, he explained why he was calling.
He and a small group of friends were listening together to Talmatha, a 30-minute, Arabic radio program that gives house church pastors, lay leaders, and new believers a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Bible.
Discussing the gospel is forbidden in many Muslim countries, and meeting together for Bible teaching can put individuals in unthinkable risk. But radio programs like Tamaltha allow those like Ibrahim to study the Word in the safety of their own home. “Talmatha is so helpful for people like us who cannot go to church or who live far away from fellowship,” Ibrahim told us.
Radio programs like Talmatha and Discipleship on the Air—mentoring programs for house church leaders and new believers—are the only source of discipleship many have in regions of the world where owning a Bible or professing faith in Christ can cost you your life.
As children of God, we are given the biblical mandate to “Go and make disciples of all nations,” yet millions today lack the discipleship they need to grow in their faith.
Though more than 70 percent of Ukraine’s population profess Christianity, less than three percent have a personal relationship with Christ. It is common for Ukrainian Christians to incorporate religious mysticism into their faith, which has diverted many from foundational biblical truths.
Ukraine also lacks Christian leadership, and as a result, many young believers go without biblical mentoring. Instead, they rely heavily on religious traditions passed down through the generations. But with your help, we can continue to nurture young believers in the faith through radio Bible study.
“I have been listening to your programs for a long time. They encourage me and help me understand God’s Word more deeply. My brothers and sisters at the church, especially the older generation, listen to your programs regularly. I remember TWR from my childhood when the programs were breaking through the Iron Curtain. When I became a Christian in 1998, I went through persecution at home. I could not attend church very often, and your programs turned out to be a great support and encouragement for me.” – listener from Kiev
Radio is a widely-used medium in Ukraine, and is a God-given tool for strengthening the faith of Christians throughout the country. Programs like Man and Eternity provide discipleship to an estimated reach of more than 30 million Ukrainians. This broadcast helps young Christians understand their purpose and identity in Christ, and cultivates a solid faith foundation for its listeners by giving biblical examples for everyday circumstances.
The discussions range from marriage to finances, social issues to adolescence, and more—providing scriptural context for navigating daily challenges in a way that pleases God. These broadcasts are the spiritual bread that carry many through the hardship of life in Ukraine today.
When you invest in biblical discipleship, you invest in faith that flourishes. Your generosity today will help raise up godly leaders who will impact future generations.
